Scratch is the brainchild of MIT Media Lab and is an in-depth programming application designed for kids. All users need to do is connect the Cubroid master block to a PC via a USB cable and its showtime. The Auto Mode allows the creator to tap into a collection of preset movements. The mode speaks to the DC Motor Block – the central command center – and doesn’t rely on a PC or smartphone to operate. This is the perfect mode for the newbie programmer wanting to bring their robot to life with simple commands. With each Cubroid ‘bot compatible with LEGO and MIT Scratch, the sky is the limit as to the type of skills the robot can showcase. Some of the featured creations include an airplane gliding across a makeshift landing strip using a proximity sensor, a spaceship using a DC motor block and a light sensor to recognize sources of light, and a robot that only functions when smart lights are turned on.

Cubroid has already raised close to $60,000 from its Kickstarter campaign and has an estimated ship date scheduled for February 2018. There are plenty of kit choices – giving children of all ages access to programmable blocks without any visible lines or connecting pins. We hope children will learn coding in a fun and easy way with Cubroid. Both children and parents are unfamiliar with computer language but they are interested in learning how to code. Children can be creative and expand their logical thinking by utilizing coding. It is natural that they seek fun. So we are looking for learning to play in the play with the Cubroid to play and play like a toy. Cubroid provides new innovation that associates having fun with learning in the form of coding.

Our educational experts and engineers have been planning and developing Cubroid for three years. We have done so many field tests in about 20 schools, 100 homes, and also exporting samples abroad. We are constantly improving our quality, hardware and software problems. We are also developing educational applications to provide high degree of freedom and variety educational contents.
